I got the ring!...

Today I got a package in the mail, and inside held a little black box. Inside that little box was a ring. Now, before anyone thinks "OMG ENGAGED!?", no I'm not engaged, it is simply a promise ring. I'm in a long distance relationship with my amazing boyfriend, Caleb, who lives in Virginia. We will have been together for 3 years on January 26th 2011. I knew he was sending me a ring, but I didn't know which one, or what it looked like, and I am so surprised and overfilled with happiness, I cant even speak. It is so beautiful, and so perfect. (I'll have to put up pictures later!) I seriously am so grateful for having such an amazing man in my life, and I couldn't ask for anything more. He spoils me so much, without even being asked, and I LOVE it. :P I am so excited! The moment I opened the box, I put it on, and haven't taken it off since. ;]

Caleb is supposed to be coming up on the 14th and staying until the 28th so we can be together for our 3 year. But I'm kind of worried right now that it wont happen, because of work. :[ But of course, I'm going to try to be positive and hope for the best. My mother has always told me, good things happen to POSITIVE people. :]

So, other than preparing for Caleb's arrival, my parents are still trying to get a house. We just found out that the original house we were looking at isn't going to happen. The bank wants too much money, and wont take any less. BUT, we are looking at another house right now, and I must say it is really nice! Its really big, and there's a lot of extra pluses. The room I'll be in is really nice, tons of space, and it has a huge closet! It's not a walk in closet, but its still pretty freakin huge! My parents room however, does have a walk in closet, and its own bathroom... and yes, I am jealous :P. As far as my brothers rooms go... My little brother has the smallest of the 3 bedrooms, but its still really pretty big. (Much bigger than what he has now). And for my older brother, there is a big basement with tons of room, and all we would need to do is add some carpet, finish the ceiling, and its his own little apartment. There are 2.5 baths in the house, one in my parents room, and one in the hallway of the bedrooms, and one by the kitchen and living room. (Keep in mind that again, this house is huge... 2200sqft+) There are tons of windows and skylights in the house, a fireplace, a bar, 2 decks on the back of the house, AND an above ground pool! It has a huge front and back yard, and a really nice 2 car garage. I am so excited, and I really hope we get it, it would be the perfect house for my family. Plenty of space, and some pretty amazing extras that we will get tons of use out of (Pool, decks, bar)! So hopefully, my dads offer will be accepted soon, and we can move right in. And if we do, I will defiantly be taking pictures for everyone to see! :D

Well, I guess thats pretty much it for now... I'm gonna go and play some Mario Bros.! :P WOHOO!

So I've decided to start blogging...

Hey everyone!

I have decided I want to start blogging. I don't exactly know why, but this morning when I woke up I just felt like I needed to. I had a blog a while back, and for whatever reason I just stopped. But here I am, and hopefully this time to stay. :] I don't really know what to say for my first blog, so I guess I'll just tell everyone a little about me...

So, my name is Leslyn, and I'm 18 years old. I graduated high school last year, Class of 2010, and am a aspiring photographer. I finished one quarter of college, majoring in photography, however, very soon after I decided college wasn't right for me right now. I am still taking pictures, and I love it just the same, I just don't want to be told my pictures are either A or F material. I'm still living at home with my wonderful parents and older brother (John, 24), and little brother (Logan, 15). If your wondering why my 24 year old brother still lives at home... He lost his welding job a year or 2 back, and hasn't been able to find a new job since. Other than that, all I'm really doing is helping my parents out here and there, and looking for a job. I may be getting an internship soon at a photography studio, but we will see how that goes. Other than photography, I really love cosmetology, traveling, and learning about my heritage. Oh! and I also absolutely LOVE the holidays. :] Well, I guess thats all I've got for now. I'm sure I'll be back tomorrow with something to actually say. But for now, I will just jump back into bed with my snowman mug, and Santa blanket in hand, and watch a little more TV.
